Tattoo Girl

Every once in a while a piece comes along that just demands I ink it - this was one of them.

As always I inked traditionally and this is what I consider to be the higher end of my inking.

This is also the first piece, penciled by someone else, that I've coloured (just realised that) and I immediately knew how I wanted to colour it. I felt the style of Deathburger's colours would fit with this piece perfectly in terms of the colour palette (do check him out on Instagram, his art is amazing!). I've always loved colouring that thinks outside the box and uses unusual combinations. Deathbuger stands out in that way.

It was a challenge keeping the colour palette restricted and simplifying the render, as well as being subtle with shading, but it was a fun challenge!

I hope you love the results as much as I do!
